My name is Inspector Sesceaux. I'm a Private Eye investigating a mysterious murder of one Mrs. Boddy. Got a tip that the murderer would show up at a Halloween Party. Murderers or not, I found a bunch of loonies in attendance.

What a satisfying weekend!

A beautiful April day in God's country, repairing a house designed by an architectural student of Thomas Jefferson.

Riding down a country road, you NEVER know what you are going to find...

A statue honoring the horses and mules who died during the Civil War, on the front lawn of The Va. Historical Society in Richmond, Va.

Took a nice walk one chilly, winter morning to Byrd Park in Richmond, Va.

I met with my good friends, The Gill Family, in Mount Jackson, Va. at Meems Bottom Covered Bridge while up from Stuart, Fla. over the Holidays. It was frigid, so we only had enough time to snap some photos and get back in our vehicles for some heat.

Unsure why I took these photos. Just went out for a stroll and took the camera with me. Autumn in Albemarle County.

A Sunday morning ride, in the country, in the mountains, to an old marble mansion I once visited when in college.

a long weekend to Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, then two hours south to Pleasure Island.

It's interesting, that within one generation, a kid could view this Mall with such a sense of promise and awe, and as an aging adult, to view it with such futility and anger and resignation. I can't focus my feelings on our representatives solely, I also have to lay this mismanagement at the feet of the people, who demand much in their shortsightedness, fail to hold their representatives accountable for the long-term, who abdicate a great deal of their obligations and power, and now are reaping what freedom without responsibility will grow.

It's a short walk to Lake Albemarle from my house, but I always take my camera.

Taken on Saturday Jan. 23, 2010 atop Afton Mountain in Virginia.

As best I can, I will post photos of the various stages of a 48" wide 24" high 3/4" deep acrylic on stretched canvas painting I've titled "Locked Out"

circa 1995, in the parking lot of The Dockside Restaurant and Lounge, Edisto Beach, SC, during a gig; This was the only night we dressed like this. Geek Night.

Here I'm chronicling a few steps in the creation of a triptych, utilizing acrylic paint on three 20" x 24" x 1.5" supports of stretched cotton canvas. The subject is the Tulip.
